Who is podIGT?

podIGT is an explosion of excitement, energy and fun that brings comfort, smiles and education to children via his books, memory badge pack and animated website. His memory book and badge packs have been used by armed forces families during deployment in Afghanistan; by prisoner’s family associations, fostering agencies, for bereavement, moving school and much more.

How to use a Memory badge pack.

1. Read the story of why podIGT had to leave Planet Stinkywink and of how his people were all given memory badges to remind them of their family and friends.
2. Colour the pictures inside the book.
3. Use the circular template to cut out a photograph of the person you want to remember.
4. Place your photograph  inside the badge and clip the two pieces of the badge together.
5. Take the badge with you wherever you go.
6. When you feel sad and lonely hold the badge and you will know someone is thinking about you and that will make you smile.

Big D contacted podIGT from Afghanistan and said that his son loves his memory badge. He pins it on his teddy at night and when asked “Why?” his response was “Don’t be silly Dad, it means you are sleeping with me.” How cool is that?

podIGT’s philosophy

podIGT believes that people across the world are all the same in some ways and different in others and that is how it should be. As he travelled across the Universe he met many strange creatures but he accepted them as friends. He truly believes in respecting the views of others and does not like bullies.

PodIGT’s Best Friend

podIGT’s best friend is SARP whose name stands for Sustainable And Renewable Power. He tells children how the power of sun, wind and water changed the lives of his people forever.
